About The Position
We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator and civil superintendent with extensive experience in site work, precision grading, and the ability to bring blueprints to life. This role involves managing a crew and overseeing various civil construction tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine grading using a dozer
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil blueprints
- Hands-on experience in grading ponds, building pads, house pads, roads, curbs, and parking lots
- Expertise in operating an excavator for laying storm drains
- Strong ability to perform grading math and set GPS lasers for storm drain installation and grading
- Comprehensive knowledge of site development processes
- Exceptional skills in operating heavy equipment
- Relevant certifications
Responsibilities
- Fine grading using a dozer
- Grading ponds, building pads, house pads, roads, curbs, and parking lots
- Operating an excavator for laying storm drains
- Performing grading math and setting GPS lasers for storm drain installation and grading
- Managing a crew, including hiring/firing and setting work hours
