Requirements

Experience in civil engineering with the ability to manage multiple land development and/or municipal projects.
Experience with land development design, permitting, and municipal review processes.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong technical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
A proactive mindset with a hunger to learn, grow, and work with excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage civil engineering projects from planning and design through permitting and completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
Review subdivision, land development, stormwater, and other civil engineering submissions on behalf of municipal clients and provide clear, practical review comments.
Coordinate engineers, designers, technicians, and other team members to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work.
Provide technical oversight and QA/QC for assigned projects and municipal reviews.
Communicate consistently with developers, municipal officials, clients, and other project stakeholders to understand needs, solve problems, and provide excellent service.
Build and maintain client relationships while identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow JHA’s civil engineering services.
