We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure and heavy civil projects in the Timmins region. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong focus on safety, schedule, cost control, and client satisfaction. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on civil construction professional who understands the demands of northern Ontario work and enjoys delivering infrastructure projects that support local communities.

Requirements

5–10+ years of experience managing civil construction projects
Background in civil infrastructure such as roads, highways, earthworks, utilities, water/sewer, or municipal works
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
Experience working with public-sector owners and consultants
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software

Responsibilities

Manage civil construction projects from award through completion
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal field teams
Oversee contract administration, change management, and progress billing
Lead project meetings and act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Support estimating, planning, and work acquisition efforts as needed
