About The Position

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join its Structures and Bridge Design Group in Richmond, Virginia. The role offers the opportunity to work on routine and complex structures, including bridges, buildings, renewable energy structures, and ancillary structures. The engineer will perform rehabilitation designs, conduct bridge load ratings and evaluations, support project planning and management, and contribute to marketing and proposal development. The position is eligible for straight-time overtime. The stated estimated salary range is $82,000–$90,000, with potential flexibility for experienced candidates. Offers are based on job-related factors including internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials, and role complexity. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in structural and/or bridge design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, the AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and VDOT standards.
Proficiency in structural design software.
Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for plan development.
