About The Position

Triad Engineering, Inc. has an immediate need for a Civil Project Engineer in our Monroeville, PA office. We are an Employee Owned Firm and offer a Comprehensive Benefit Package. Triad Engineering is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm that provides geotechnical and civil engineering, landscape architecture, environmental services, land surveying, construction testing and monitoring services to a wide range of clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • 4 years of relevant progressive experience
  • Must be eligible for, or hold, a Professional Engineer's License
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Must possess advanced reading, writing and math skills
  • Must be comfortable communicating with the public
  • Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to learn company / client software
  • Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments

Nice To Haves

  • Post-graduate degree in engineering may substitute for one year of experience

Responsibilities

  • Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria on moderately complex projects
  • Possess the ability to take a project from concept to final completion with occasional supervision
  • Work closely with senior staff members to gain project management experience
  • Monitor project budget and schedule, understanding basic financial terms and concepts of profitability
  • Plan, schedule and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work with clients, contractors, and project team members
  • May make design recommendations, adaptations and modifications with guidance from senior staff members
  • Prepare reports and correspondence related to assigned projects
  • Prospect, develop and maintain client relationships
  • Participate in business development and customer service whenever possible
  • Strive to make each project profitable
