About The Position

MacKay is seeking a dedicated and relationship-driven Civil Project Engineer to join their natural gas team in Vancouver, WA. Requirements

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the states of Washington and/or Oregon, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
3-5 years of design experience in transportation, gas pipeline, roadway, energy, or utilities.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Experience coordinating with EITs and design technicians, serving as the subject matter expert.
Demonstrated ability to support projects from including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, construction support, and project delivery within municipal and/or gas projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and technical delivery of natural gas and municipal projects.
Communicate with clients regarding current projects and collaborate with project managers and the business development team to identify and position the firm to successfully win future work.
Provide direction and support to technical staff and EITs.
Support project managers in preparing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule, and prepare deliverables.
Build and maintain strong client relationships alongside business development teams.
