About The Position
V3 Companies is seeking a professional engineer with 4+ years of experience for their Central Ohio office. This role will contribute to significant projects focused on modernizing systems that protect public health and the environment. As a member of the Floodplain and Stormwater Management (FSM) team, you will be instrumental in delivering complex stormwater projects to support communities. While the work is primarily local to Central Ohio, you will collaborate with a broad network of professionals across North America through the company's One Team model.
Requirements
- Passion for stormwater infrastructure and its community benefits.
- Graduation from a four-year civil or environmental engineering degree program.
- Experience in the design and construction administration of floodplain, stormwater, or water resources projects.
- Licensed professional engineer.
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS and Civil3D.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a project leader for engineering tasks related to floodplain and floodway studies, stormwater management, and drainage design.
- Participate in all project phases, including watershed analysis, drainage studies, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, sketching, detailed design, report writing, and preparation of bid documents.
- Engage in field activities during both the design and construction oversight phases.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including client and industry engagement, local strategy development, project development, and proposal writing.
- Act as a key member or leader of multidisciplinary teams (engineers, planners, landscape architects, surveyors, administrators) focused on improving stormwater infrastructure.
- Cultivate strong industry and community relationships.
