About The Position

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a professional engineer and project manager with 9+ years of experience for its Central Ohio office. This role will contribute to career-defining projects focused on modernizing systems that protect public health and the environment. As a key team member of the Floodplain and Stormwater Management (FSM) team, you will be involved in delivering complex stormwater projects. While the work is predominantly local to Central Ohio, you will collaborate with a wider network of professionals across North America through the One Team model.

Requirements

• Passion for stormwater infrastructure and its benefits to communities.
• Graduates of a four-year civil or environmental engineering degree.
• Licensed professional engineer.
• Nine years or more of experience in the design and construction administration of floodplain, stormwater, or water resources projects.
• Team player who will enjoy our in-office, relaxed but focused, close-knit team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of growth, creativity, and excellence.
• Build strong client relationships from contract procurement through project coordination and completion.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Act as a project leader throughout the project cycle, including watershed analysis, drainage studies, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, sketching, detailed design, report writing, and preparation of bid documents.
• Engage in field activities during both design and construction oversight.
• Participate in business development, including client and industry engagement, local strategy, project development, and proposals.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams comprised of engineers, planners, landscape architects, surveyors, and administrators to improve stormwater infrastructure.
• Build strong industry and community relationships.
