Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineer.
One year of experience with water line or piping design, installation, inspection, civil engineering, utility infrastructure, or construction projects.
Ability to read engineering plans, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain within two years of hire.
Experience developing and executing piping models is preferred.
P.E. license

Responsibilities

Design, plan, and manage piping and water flow infrastructure improvement projects from initial concept through construction.
Prepare and develop piping models to verify compliance requirements.
Review submittals and prepare layouts, contracts, and other engineering designs.
Coordinate extension and relocation projects while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, specifications, and cost estimates for capital improvement projects.
Manage projects during construction, monitor progress, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, utilities, contractors, government agencies, developers, and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
Prepare technical specifications, engineering reports, and contract documents.
Provide technical support and resolve engineering, construction, and customer issues efficiently.
Continue professional development through training, seminars, and industry organizations.
