About The Position
Long-standing, stable, mid-size, Civil Litigation Law Firm, practicing in various areas of law, is in need of an Experienced Civil Litigation Secretary to join the firm and be a Litigation Secretary to one of the named Partners. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday “in office”.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Civil Litigation Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Local Rules of Civil Procedure
- E-filing Experience
Nice To Haves
- Paralegal certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Drafting and proofreading pleadings, discovery, correspondence, etc.
- Organizing and maintaining both paper and electronic files
- Working with clients and opposing counsel
- Calendaring and scheduling
- E-filing in both State and Federal Courts
- Entering Attorney’s billable hours
- General Administrative duties
