About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking attorneys to join its Civil Litigation Practice in the Walnut Creek, California office. The practice includes more than 600 attorneys nationwide and defends businesses and individuals, including insured and self-insured clients, in a broad range of civil litigation matters. The group focuses on litigation and trials involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex cases. Its partners and senior associates are experienced trial attorneys, and the practice has received prominent recognition for its defense verdicts. The ideal candidates have strong research and writing skills and experience in all phases of defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Defense experience is preferred, but the firm is also interested in developing talented attorneys with strong skills and substantive litigation experience in any litigation area. Requirements

Seven to fifteen years of experience in all phases of defense litigation.
Strong research and writing skills.
Admission to the California Bar is required.
Substantive litigation experience.
