About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated, mid-to-senior level Civil Land Development Engineer to help lead and manage a brand-new branch in the Fort Lauderdale/Dania Beach area. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role while staying grounded in high-level site design and land development consulting. As the Senior Project Manager and Assistant Branch Manager, you will be a cornerstone of the new office. You will be responsible for consulting excellence, leading all aspects of land development consulting, team leadership, managing and mentoring a team of professionals, client relations, developing and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships, and project oversight, utilizing your deep technical expertise to ensure excellence in site design and permitting.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- An active and current Professional Engineering (P.E.) license in the State of Florida.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in most aspects of land development and site design.
- A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, as well as hydrologic and hydraulic software.
- Familiarity with the land development and construction permit process across all sectors in Florida.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Applicants should be able to pass a standard background check.
