About The Position
This role is for new graduates to launch their engineering careers by working alongside experienced engineers on real projects that shape communities. The position offers opportunities to build technical skills, gain field experience, and work towards EIT/EI and PE certifications. Opportunities are available across Texas in areas such as Water Resources, Stormwater, Water/Wastewater Planning and Design, or Transportation. The company emphasizes a supportive environment with mentors and teammates, and provides guidance on using engineering knowledge on practical projects.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering, Biological and Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering, Structural/Geotechnical/Geological Engineering, or similar programs

Responsibilities
- Develop design plans, support hydraulic calculations and drainage studies, analyze data, build models, and help prepare technical reports and construction documents
- Build and review models using industry-standard engineering software
- Work with experienced engineers who will explain the “why”, not just give you a task
- Visit project sites and see how designs move from plans to reality
- Gradually take ownership of portions of real project deliverables
