About The Position

Robson Forensic is seeking a Civil Environmental or Chemical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in wastewater and industrial air pollution mitigation system design and implementation. The role involves investigating civil environmental engineering incidents, analyzing procedures, writing scientific reports, and providing expert testimony. This position requires a deep understanding of wastewater treatment facilities, landfills, and chemical safety protocols, including personal protective equipment assessment. The forensic expert will delve into the root causes of incidents, critically evaluating decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. Requirements

  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or an EIT/FE and can become a P.E. within 6 months.
  • B.S. in Civil Environmental or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of Civil Environmental Engineering experience with wastewater and industrial air pollution mitigation system design and implementation.
  • Experience with wastewater treatment facilities, landfills, and implementation of chemical safety protocols, including personal protective equipment assessment.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, objective evidence for non-technical audiences.
  • Approximately 20% travel for inspections.
  • Must have a clean background screen.
  • Must have a driver's license.
  • Ability to drive.
