About The Position
This entry-level civil engineering role supports municipal water and sewer infrastructure projects through material takeoffs, quantity calculations, and plan preparation while working closely with senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- 0–2 years of experience (internships accepted)
- Experience with takeoff software preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read engineering plans
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity takeoffs for water and sewer projects
- Calculate materials including PVC/ductile iron pipe, fittings, valves, manholes, hydrants, and excavation volumes
- Review plans, specifications, and site conditions
- Support sales and estimating teams with project cost preparation
- Maintain accurate project documentation and spreadsheets
