AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to be based in Sacramento, CA. This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026. Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering and/or related field must have completed at least three of years of study.
Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions.
Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate
Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D Design or similar applications.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.
