About The Position

Walter P Moore is seeking high-achieving civil engineering students from leading universities who are passionate about shaping the built environment through innovative site development solutions. Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to impactful projects across commercial and institutional sectors. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you’ll be an integral part of our project teams, collaborating on the design and development of a variety of civil/land/site development projects. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world challenges, including: Site layout and grading Stormwater management Utility design Sustainable infrastructure planning You will also have the opportunity to: Participate in our industry-leading, in-house staff development program Work on diverse, high-impact projects Be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment Gain exposure to cutting-edge tools and technologies Year-Round & Summer Opportunities Available

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 40 college hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering of which at least 24 hours are engineering, physics or math related.
A strong technical foundation in civil engineering
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Enthusiasm for designing innovative and sustainable site development projects
Written recommendation from a civil engineering professor
