Civil Engineering Intern
About The Position
We are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization for this upcoming summer. As an Intern, you will assist our Engineers and Project Managers on a variety of tasks associated with a variety of projects including water distribution, sewer collection, pumping station, roadways, stormwater, and all aspects of a linear focused design. Our workplace thrives on a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility. Join us in office, three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Researching code and regulatory requirements, Researching design options, component specifications and document findings, Assisting with CADD drawings, Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Bachelor's or Master’s degree program
- Understanding of Engineering fundamentals
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting
- Able to manage several tasks at once and determine priorities
