About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2026 to join our Houston, TX office. This role involves gathering, logging, and summarizing field notes or other data for technical studies or projects. The intern will establish and maintain records of technical data, perform mathematical calculations, and assist with routine drafting and CAD assignments. Additionally, the intern will help prepare graphic displays and presentation materials, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• College junior or senior working towards completing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
• AutoCAD

• Student involvement with ASCE chapter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, logs and summarizes field notes or other data to be used by technicians or professionals in technical studies or projects.
• Establishes and maintains records or files of technical data or documents.
• Performs mathematical calculations.
• Performs various routine drafting and CAD assignments.
• Assists in the preparation of graphic displays and presentation materials.
• Performing other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
