The approximate date of this internship is January 2027 to June 2027 and will be located in Orlando, FL. We are looking for a Civil Engineering intern who will work within the department responsible for civil engineering including design, analysis, calculations and specifications for hydrology/hydraulics, sanitary and storm sewerage, storm water management, water treatment, potable water and other utilities for the site/area development of an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project. As an intern on the team, you will have the opportunity to… Be responsible for civil engineering design and calculation tasks Make decisions within established guidelines and provide, under supervision, engineering design and analysis in support of the production of construction contract documents Communicate across multiple teams including structural, mechanical and electrical engineering teams to facilitate coordination of work.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of the civil engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of grading, hydrology/hydraulics, detention/retention ponds, sanitary and storm sewerage, potable water and utility coordination
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree in Civil Engineering
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
  • Must be fully available for the duration of the internship

  • Active membership in a professional engineering organization
  • Engineer-in-Training certified
