About The Position
Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support its mission of Building Stronger Communities. This internship will provide an opportunity to contribute to various engineering projects within the Site, Transportation, Structures, and Water Resources service lines. The ideal candidate will possess educational expertise and a people-first mindset, committed to collaboration and making a meaningful difference. Requirements
- Must be a full or part-time student seeking a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering fundamentals, surveying, drafting, and general civil engineering design/construction practices.
- Ability to assist in the field or on job sites.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment.
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new concepts.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation.
- Ability to provide 30 to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surveying and engineering to support a variety of design projects under supervision.
