About The Position

This internship offers a civil engineering student the opportunity to apply standard engineering practices and techniques to prepare calculations for storm drainage, earthwork quantities, and cost estimates. The intern will also perform plan drafting using CAD software. The Utilities division specifically provides full-service electrical, civil, and structural engineering services to support electric and gas utilities nationwide, as well as projects in wind farms, renewables, transmission systems, and university/industrial facilities.

Requirements

• Currently studying civil engineering.
• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree program.
• At least a Junior or more advanced in the curriculum.
• Passionate about learning civil engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Proficient with business and engineering applications.
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or geopack.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of RISA 3D.
