The College of Engineering and Technology offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus. If you are highly motivated and passionate about teaching exceptional quality instruction in modern facilities with smaller class sizes, we’d like to hear from you. Course: Civil Engineering Foundations This course provides an in-depth exploration of civil construction, focusing on the planning, design, and building of public infrastructure projects. Students learn the fundamental principles and methods used to create essential societal structures, including roads, bridges, dams, and water treatment plants. Key aspects of transportation systems and water management are also addressed, equipping participants with the skills necessary to contribute effectively to the development of these crucial projects. This course is suited for students who want to play a significant role in shaping the infrastructure that supports modern society.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 5-7 years of industry experience in civil construction.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field with 3-5 years of civil construction experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions

  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
