About The Position
Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineering student to join its growing team in the Toronto West office for the Summer 2026 work term. The student will be a key member of a focused and dedicated team providing preliminary design, detailed design, preparation of tender documents, assistance with procurement and tender evaluation, contract administration, engineering services during construction, and post-construction services for civil work. Projects will be for both private and public clients in various jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related program
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
- Experience in technical software including AutoCAD, Civil3D is necessary
Nice To Haves
- General Civil Design exposure such as: site grading, site servicing, CAD design would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Provide design and AutoCAD civil 3D support for specific land engineering projects
- Preparing technical reports and performing design calculations
- Conducting CAD drafting and design
- Potential site visits for data collection and observation
