About The Position

Requirements

B.S. degree or higher.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills.
Ability to set and/or stand for prolonged periods of time at a desk working on a computer and viewing a screen.

Nice To Haves

Some experience in site development.
Relevant internship experience.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.

Responsibilities

Perform site development, parks, and recreation facilities projects.
Improve existing city streets, urban arterials, and highways.
Conduct site planning, environmental analysis, and storm drainage studies.
Engage in wetlands enhancement and permit coordination.
Design site grading, drainage, storm detention, utilities, access roads, parking facilities, and public street improvements.
Serve as a prime consultant to government clients for management and design of transportation, waterfront, site improvements, and major utility projects.
Visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and envision potential scope of work requirements.
Apply established engineering principles to solve problems and overcome obstacles using sound judgment, independent decision making, and prolonged focus.
