About The Position

Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Civil Engineer to their Virginia Beach, Virginia office! The role involves leading the design process from project start to construction, being responsible for project tracking and reporting, and developing site plans. The engineer will visit potential sites, complete site due diligence reports, and coordinate tasks with external sub-consultant partners and internal design teams. Leading design approvals is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience with navigating through various entitlement approvals
• Experience with preparing site due diligence studies
• Experience with multi-site development design and development programs
• Ability to create site plans following client/code requirements
• Ability to effectively read/understand site construction drawings
• Ability to work on various development projects in different stages simultaneously
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• PE License preferred
