Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (municipal, environmental, or transportation emphasis)
• 2–5 years of engineering experience
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
• Experience with civil design and modeling tools (e.g. Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM)
• Construction observation or management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers in designing and administering municipal and civil engineering projects including street and roadway improvements, water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, and site development for public and private spaces.
• Prepare design plans, calculations, and specifications.
• Contribute to project scheduling, budgeting, and deliverables.
• Perform construction observation and field coordination as needed.
