About The Position

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented Civil Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our growing land development team in the Orlando office. The position will be responsible for CAD design and for assisting in developing engineering reports, calculations, and designs for Civil/Land Development projects, including construction administration support.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience
• B.S. Engineering or other technical degree
• Driver’s License
• Possesses foundational engineering concepts through undergraduate-level education.
• Acquires basic knowledge and develops basic skills through mentored experience.
• Applies learned knowledge and skills to perform assigned tasks.
• Performs routine technical work which does not require previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Civil Engineering design and calculations for water, wastewater, and stormwater components of Land Development projects.
• Participates in technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans.
• Filling out and completing permit applications for processing.
• Construction administration support including field observation reports.
• Prepare plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
