About The Position

In this role, you will assist with production of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective designs, drawings and specifications in your discipline for assigned projects. You will emerge into an independent resource and begin to coordinate work with other disciplines. Additionally, you will work to fulfill experience requirements for eligibility to take professional license exam.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience required as an Engineer Intern.
  • Autodesk Civil 3D (current version)
  • Clear and strong alignment with our team and long‑term needs.
  • Strong interest in living in Oklahoma.
  • High GPA demonstrating strong academic performance.
  • Engaged professional who communicates well and shows initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree from accredited curriculum (NCARB or ABET) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Application of Knowledge of Civil Engineering Applications (Conceptual Design)
  • Participates in project strategy meetings within discipline, develops design concepts, produces pricing and proposal presentation documents
  • Researches and is responsible for discipline design compliance with proposal/client criteria.
  • Prepares design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities and erosion sediment control design approach.
  • Ability to read and understand design documents.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications.
  • Coordinates work with other disciplines.
  • Subject to final approval of Licensed Professional, checks shop drawings and submittal data for conformance with contract documents.
  • Works with License Professional in construction observation to monitor compliance with design intent, construction drawings and observations. Prepares field reports.
  • Works with Licensed Professional with final project punch list observation and coordinates satisfactory response for substantial completion of civil site work elements.
  • Partners with technical efforts of discipline Interns, designers, technicians assigned to the project
  • Manage personal productivity to maintain a profitable margin while executing the basic services.
  • Meet civil design schedule to align with target dates for deliverables.
  • Identify continuing education opportunities to expand professional growth and advance the collective ability of the discipline.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.
