About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern for its Federal Solutions team. Requirements

Be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering.
Have Civil 3D experience.
Be a U.S. citizen.
Have a major GPA greater than 3.25/4.00.
Have strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Be enrolled in an engineering curriculum at an accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of studies in an engineering discipline.
Have PC literacy, working knowledge of CAD, and working knowledge of other computer software used to complete design assignments.

Responsibilities

Use a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings—including arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, and isometrics—from rough sketches or general engineering and design information, following established standards and procedures.
Use technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with applicable codes and company policies, and become familiar with standards such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations needed to prepare drawings.
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
