Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • EIT Certification or ability to sit for the exam within 12 months of hire.
  • Excellent computer, writing, communication, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer, preferred.
  • Exposure to aviation design standards and software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare site layouts, including runways, taxiways, tarmacs, and terminal site designs, as well as utility plans, in support of aviation infrastructure projects.
  • Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met in collaboration with project managers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and local agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Review and interpret survey reports, maps, and as-built drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and cost estimates.
  • Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
