About The Position
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Engineer I to join their Critical Infrastructure team. This team has over 80 years of experience designing and delivering critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities worldwide. They work in collaborative teams to plan, design, build, and modernize infrastructure, with a focus on projects that improve communities, enhance quality of life, promote economic growth, improve mobility, and increase sustainability and resiliency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field)
- 3+ years of related work experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations and perform civil design, grading and drainage, utilities, green infrastructure, work zone traffic control, site layout, and other civil engineering tasks.
- Develop civil design plans, profiles, sections, and details using engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Support multi-disciplinary design development teams in project execution.
- Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
- Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate for the position.
