About The Position
Robson Forensic is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and over 10 years of hands-on experience in Highway Construction Management to join their team. This role involves investigating highway construction incidents, analyzing site procedures, writing reports, and providing expert testimony. The position offers the opportunity to apply cumulative training, experience, and critical thinking skills, collaborate with respected experts, and continuously learn and grow. The work involves delving into the 'why' behind incidents by critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care.
Requirements
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience (including DOT experience) in highway construction (excavation, paving, drainage, utilities, bridges and other structures, etc.), traffic control and safety in highway work zones, construction management, construction inspection, construction safety, means & methods, contracts, scheduling, estimating, subcontractor management, quality control, fieldwork analyses, and incident and claims investigations.
- Thorough working knowledge of highway construction site procedures.
- Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, objective evidence for non-technical audiences.
- Clean background screen.
- Driver's license and ability to drive.
