About The Position

Apex Companies is seeking an enthusiastic Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) to join the Laramie, Wyoming team at Forsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company. The role provides hands-on experience supporting water, wastewater, groundwater, and well projects. The engineer will work alongside experienced professionals while continuing to develop technical skills. The position is listed under the Apex job title Engineer I and is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's sign-on bonus program.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• AutoCAD or MicroStation drafting experience.
• EIT certification or awaiting FE exam results.
• Enthusiastic attitude and a passion for learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to design, draft, and evaluate engineering deliverables for water, wastewater, groundwater, and well projects.
• Collect and analyze information, including through site visits and other field work.
• Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• Perform tasks in accordance with approved scopes, schedules, and budgets.
