Civil Drafting Internship - Water/Wastewater
About The Position
Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water and wastewater services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a drafting intern on our Water/Wastewater team, you will provide assistance to engineers and designers using AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create plans and perform design work. You will also contribute to project production sheets by adding dimension/layout plans and title/detail sheets. Typical projects you will work on include sanitary sewer piping, water and wastewater pump stations, water piping, water supply wells, water storage tanks, and water treatment facilities.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Pursuing an associate degree in architectural drafting or a similar drafting program
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail
