About The Position

As one of our summer 2027 engineering student interns with the Water/Wastewater team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You will provide project design utilizing CAD/modeling software, perform technical analysis, prepare construction documents, provide construction services, perform research, and write technical reports. You will work closely with other team members and engineers on projects related to wastewater collection and treatment along with water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution. Typical projects you will work on include sanitary sewer piping, water and wastewater pump stations, water piping, water supply wells, water storage tanks, and water treatment facilities.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Pursuing a civil or environmental-related engineering degree
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail
