Requirements

Operate company-owned machinery in a safe and effective manner.
Demonstrate safe operation of the assigned equipment.
Use experience and judgment to make decisions considering safety and efficiency.

High School Diploma / GED
OSHA 10 or 30
CPR / First Aid Training

Responsibilities

Ensure all safety requirements and codes are implemented and met by all team members
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
Understand means and methods to safely perform assigned tasks
Monitor and track field data as requested by the superintendent
Maintain required daily paperwork
Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, skid steer, rollers.
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage, or loss of life in accordance with company policies and procedures
Perform daily pre-inspections: identify problems or defects that need to be corrected, and report problems or defects immediately
