Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
• Professional designation or eligibility with APEGNB or certification with NBSCETT
• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in municipal servicing and site development projects
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and design practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices

Nice To Haves

• Experience with site inspections, hydraulic design, or modelling is an asset

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
• Prepare concept, detailed, and tender-ready designs for civil infrastructure projects
• Develop designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including developing corridors, site grading, and design surfaces
• Produce quantity takeoffs and support cost estimating
• Perform constructability reviews and identify design improvements
• Analyze project data and prepare technical reports
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to meet project requirements
• Ensure designs align with applicable standards, specifications, and guidelines
• Participate in client and project meetings
• Support project delivery within established budgets and timelines
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
