Civil Design Technician - Land Development
About The Position
Kimley-Horn is looking for a CAD Operator to join our Land Development team in Walnut Creek, CA. The person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Land Development projects. This role involves designing and producing sets of plans, implementing and managing AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards, and assisting in maintaining the drawing database. The position also requires performing routine analysis to check data accuracy and developing familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and with a team
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree preferred
