About The Position
Chicago area firm has a long-term opportunity for ownership and partnership for a Civil Design Engineer! This role involves overseeing Municipal Infrastructure Projects from the preliminary engineering phase through the public bidding process. The engineer will communicate with the Construction Engineering team and work directly with Municipal Engineers and Municipal staff, while also managing junior staff during the design phase.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of Municipal Engineering experience
- Experience with Transportation and Infrastructure projects
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- PE License preferred
- Experience with IDOT, MWRDGC, and County Submittal Processes preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
