Senior Civil Design Engineer - Multiple Locations
About The Position
Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. is seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer/Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is for a problem solver with a passion for civil engineering and an eye for detail. The position involves managing multiple projects, interacting with production staff, clients, and review agencies, and developing and QAQC Plans for site development and public improvement projects. Responsibilities include coordinating and completing daily workflow on assigned projects, such as project studies, reports, and calculations. The role also encompasses Civil Design, Utility Coordination, Permit Acquisition, and Client Invoicing. Collaboration with the KVE team, clients, and project stakeholders, including external architects and engineers, is essential. The position plays an integral role in maintaining client satisfaction and developing the client base, and also involves serving as a mentor and providing guidance to less experienced staff.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering from an accredited program
- Kansas P.E. license (ability to obtain license within 60 days)
- Experience managing and navigating the completion of projects
Nice To Haves
- Consulting experience is preferred.
- Expertise in residential and commercial site development, and transportation is a strong plus.
- Experience in municipal engineering policy and procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities

- Play an integral role in maintaining client satisfaction and developing our client base.
- Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
