About The Position

Collins and Sons is seeking dependable and hardworking Laborers to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in excavation and civil construction. No previous construction experience is required—just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely as part of a team. As a Civil Construction Laborer, you will assist equipment operators and crews on a variety of residential and commercial excavation projects throughout Central Oregon.

Requirements

• No prior experience required – willing to train the right candidate
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor and lift heavy materials
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to learn excavation and construction skills
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s un-restricted license required

Responsibilities

• Assist crews with excavation, trenching, grading, and site preparation
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
• Perform general cleanup and maintain safe, organized job sites
• Assist with underground utility installation and pipe work
• Use hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively
• Follow directions from supervisors and experienced crew members
• Help identify and maintain safe working conditions
• Work outdoors in various weather and terrain conditions
