About The Position
About CSL Group At CSL Group, we build parks, pathways, bridges, and public spaces that shape communities. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Civil Construction Estimator to support competitive bid delivery and project planning.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of civil construction estimating experience
- Background in civil infrastructure, site development, or landscape construction
- Proficiency with HeavyBid or similar, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work Eastern Time hours
Nice To Haves
- Experience with municipal or public tenders is an asset
- Relevant diploma or degree is an asset
Responsibilities
- Prepare and support tenders for civil projects including parks, trails, bridges, and municipal infrastructure
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Complete quantity take-offs and assist with cost estimates and bid submissions
- Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Support pre-construction planning and project handoff
- Collaborate with Project Managers and operations teams
