About The Position

STRUCTURAL is hiring Civil Concrete & Steel Repair Technicians to perform structural repair work in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area and surrounding Gulf Coast areas. The company is seeking skilled construction professionals with industrial plant, concrete, and/or welding experience to carry out challenging repair work. STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group and provides specialty repair and maintenance services for existing infrastructure. The company promotes a 24/7 safety and quality culture and describes a caring work environment.

Requirements

• Have a TWIC card or be willing to obtain one.
• Have industrial plant, concrete, rigging, and/or steel experience.
• Be able to wear a respirator.
• Be able to pass written or computerized industrial plant entrance testing.
• Be willing to travel throughout the Gulf Coast area.
• Have contractor experience, including self-performing, general contractor, or specialty contractor experience.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Basic/Basic Plus Safety Council Training.
• Turnaround/shutdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete repair, demolition, placement, and finishing.
• Perform formwork and carpentry.
• Replace rebar.
• Apply concrete coatings.
• Perform fireproofing.
• Perform structural steel welding, iron work, and rigging.
• Perform equipment grouting.
• Operate heavy equipment.
