Requirements

• A minimum of an Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design, or a related field.
• Related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Map 3D & Carlson Software.
• Proficiency with Revit Software.

Responsibilities

• Review CAD drawings and designs for compliance with established standards (layering, dimensioning, naming conventions).
• Prepare detailed civil design drawings for grading, site development, and utilities using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Prepare construction documents based on self-directed design and engineering mark-ups, adhering to specifications and drafting principles.
• Prepare mine support and permitting exhibits for various site types using AutoCAD Map 3D & Carlson Software.
• Process aerial drone and field survey data to generate mapping for engineering design.
• Process Laser Scans and produce BIM Models using Revit Software.
• Perform volume/quantity calculations for earthwork and horizontal infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mining, Environmental, Survey, and Construction design teams to produce technical drawings.
• Operate independently on multidiscipline projects, coordinating project setup, chartering documents, and maintaining team schedules.
• Collaborate with CAD Team Members, Project Managers, and Project Engineers to understand scope, schedule, and budget.
