Michael Baker International is seeking a highly motivated Civil Associate II (Drainage Design EIT) to join our highly collaborative Water team in Dearborn, MI! As a part of our Water Practice, you will assist Project Managers with tasks such as the design of stormwater systems, culverts, bridges, bridge hydraulics, scour analysis, water quality BMPs, and drainage systems, as well as green infrastructure, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, river restoration, and river mechanics and geomorphology, in support of state, regional, municipal, watershed group, and other clients. We are searching for candidates who can serve as role models among their peers, are people- and client-focused, and strive to make an impact through decisive leadership. Most of your day would be spent on a team performing various tasks for projects in the following disciplines: storm drain design, stream channel design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and flood control. Attend and actively participate in project meetings; assist in developing marketing proposals. Perform engineering calculations, prepare design and construction plans in CADD software, generate construction specifications, develop construction quantities and cost estimates. You will work with Project Engineers and Managers who will guide you in the development of deliverables.
