The Civic and Co Curricular Engagement Program Director provides strategic leadership for campus-wide civic engagement initiatives that prepare students to become engaged citizens, thoughtful leaders, and active contributors to their communities. Develops, implements, and assesses educational programming, including curriculum, activity guides, digital resources, and facilitator materials to promote civil engagement. Leads signature initiatives such as Civic Engagement Week, Constitution Day, dialogue programs, voter engagement efforts, and First Amendment education. Leads the campus-wide adoption and continued growth of REAL Tide, the University's co-curricular record of student engagement and learning. Builds collaborative partnerships and creates meaningful learning experiences for students through the promotion of civic learning and democratic engagement. Works across Student Life, Academic Affairs, and the broader campus community to advance civic engagement and the division of student life efforts in tracking student engagement through innovative programs, strategic initiatives, and assessment. Offers opportunities to shape institutional priorities, collaborate with campus leaders, and contribute to an environment of engaged learning that prepares students for active citizenship and lifelong success.
