About The Position

R+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented City Dispatcher to work in our Sanger, TX Service Center office. This role involves managing drivers and freight handlers, coordinating dock operations, ensuring safety and quality freight handling procedures, and timely dispatching of LTL loads. The position offers a yearly salary of $70,000 or is based on experience, with full-time employment from Monday to Friday on various shifts. Employees earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
• Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
