Part-Time City Class 1/AZ Driver
About The Position
This part-time City Class 1/AZ Driver position requires availability from Friday through Sunday every week, with a depart time between 1400 and 1600. Responsibilities include making deliveries in Langley City (Container and Van/Reefer), yard shunting with a Shunt Truck or day cab, and some driver loading and unloading of freight, which may involve lifting 75 lb. or more. The start time and shift length will vary, and hours and days of work may change based on operational demands. Additional work may be available upon request. This position is part of Fleet B10 and follows the Langley City pay-scale with a night premium. Bison Drivers are paid weekly.
Requirements
- Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Valid Class 1/AZ License
- Must have experience with reefer trailers and containers
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must have CP Rail experience
- Must be able to haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
- Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
