About The Position

As a Citizens Teller, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers and supporting the branch team. Your responsibilities include greeting customers in the lobby, demonstrating the use of mobile apps and ATMs for simple transactions, and creating exceptional customer experiences. You will identify opportunities to help customers achieve their financial goals by offering personalized advice and solutions, and connecting them with Bankers for further assistance. A strong knowledge of Citizens products and benefits is essential to educate customers and address their questions or concerns effectively. Adherence to all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with state and local laws and regulations, is required.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
• Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link.

Responsibilities

• Greet our customers in our lobbies.
• Demonstrate how to use our mobile app, or our ATMs, to complete simple transactions.
• Create amazing experiences for our customers, looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their needs, and connect them to our Bankers for the next step.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits, and effectively respond to questions and/or concerns.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations.
